HAPPY 30th ANNIVERSARY ALL HALLOWS CHURCH! You can now see the video of the church being dedicated on 24 May 1996 as well as the 30th Anniversary Mass! All Hallows Catholic Church is located in Miskin, just off the M4’s Junction 34. The parish serves Llantrisant and the surrounding communities out towards the Rhondda Valleys, Llanharan, Brynna, Pontyclun, and Beddau. The official parish boundary with St Dyfrig’s is Crown Hill but worshippers from further east are welcome! Opened in January 1996, the church regularly attracts 150 parishioners for Sunday Mass and also has a well-equipped Hall available for hire. All Hallows is unique, as below the main level of the church a crypt houses a columbarium where ashes can be laid to rest. (Accessible only by stairs)

Sunday Family Mass is celebrated each week at 9.15 am. Children’s Liturgy of the Word is offered for children aged 4-8, including half-term weekends. A glassed-in side chapel allows families to bring lively children in confidence that the service will not be disrupted. Join us for Tea and Coffee following Mass, there are activities for children too!

There are groups and clubs that meet weekly, which welcome newcomers. The Union of Catholic Mothers meet regularly on Thursday afternoons. The gardening club are a group of parishioners who meet after Holy Mass on Tuesdays (and now on some other days too) fellowshipping and gardening together, we owe our beautiful gardens to this group! Feel free to drop in and try out one of these groups!

A Normal Week at All Hallows Parish

Sunday:

• 8:45am – Confession
• 9:15am – Holy Mass
• 10:30am – Team JOY: Breakfast Club (for young children and families)

Tuesday:

• 9am – Morning prayer with Adoration
• 10am – Holy Mass
• 10:30am – 1:30pm – Gardening Club (please drop in – newcomers welcome!)

Thursday:

• 2:15pm – 3:15pm – Union of Catholic Mothers (newcomers always welcome)

Saturday:

• 10am – 11 am – Adoration

By car, take the A4119 (north from M4 junction 34 or south from the A473 junction). At the Texaco garage, turn west on to School Road. At the roundabout, take the first exit and prepare to take an immediate right – the car park entrance is hard to see until you have driven past it. The car park has 100 spaces available, and on-street parking is not restricted..

By train, alight at Pontyclun (railcode PYC) – it will take about 30 minutes to reach the church on foot.

By bus, Stagecoach route 122 calls at stops rhotadw & rhotadt close to the church – in either case walk to the roundabout visible from the bus stop and take the School Road exit signposted “Catholic Church”.
