If you would like to come along, please contact howard.bayliss@templebaptist.org.uk, The number of people travelling will determine the cost of the tickets.
The aim is to keep the ticket price as low as possible.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q – When is the March?
A – Saturday, 6th September
Q – What is the coach’s departure point?
A – St Dyfrig’s church, Broadway, Treforest, Pontypridd CF37 1DB.
The coach will go directly to the March’s start venue, with a stop at Reading Services on the M4
Q – What are the timings?
A – Depart at 8AM. Return time is to be confirmed, but likely around 7.30PM
Q – Why so early?
A – The idea is to minimize the time travelling to the start venue.
The start venue is where everyone meets before the march. It has: an auditorium where you can listen to talks, a space to talk to pro-life organisations, a cafe, toilets.
Q – Can I attend Mass at St Dyfrig’s before departure?
A – Yes. Father Gareth is kindly offering Mass at 07.20 AM
Q – Can under 18s come along?
A – Yes. If under the supervision of a parent/guardian for the duration of the trip.
Q – Will the coach have a toilet?
A – Yes
Q – Is there a counter protest?
A – Last year I witnessed a small counter protest. This was mainly restricted to the far end of Parliament Square, within a cordon, though a few protestors also stood next to the stage.
There is a heavy police presence and the March organisers’ hire private security. The security walks alongside the march, 2 every 50 metres or so. It felt safe last year.
Q – Were individual marchers targeted with foul language / spitting / physical violence?
A – I did not witness any last year.
Q – Can I bring someone that doesn’t want to march?
A – Please don’t…the idea is to make a difference by marching 🙂
Q – Where can I find general information about the March?
