A message from Teresa J:

Please join me again this year in the world’s largest children’s Christmas project. Our aim is to reach as many children as possible with a shoe box gift and show them they are loved and not forgotten.

Empty shoeboxes and leaflets will be left in the Narthex at St Dyfrig’s and at the back of church in All Hallows.

This year shoeboxes will be sent to Albania, Bosnia, Moldova, Belarus, Romania, Ukraine and the Middle East.

Filled shoeboxes can be left in either church and someone will collect them. I can also collect them from people’s homes if it’s more convenient, just contact treforest@rcadc.org to get my details.

This year, we are unable to accept chocolates, sweets, toothpaste and any form of liquids such as bubbles or shampoo.

The final collection date is the weekend of 25th/26th November. If physically packing shoebox gifts is difficult for you, you can still bring great joy to children by donating shoeboxes online at shoeboxonline.org.uk. where you can select from a range of gifts and the team will pack and send your shoebox for you.

Thank you so much on behalf of all the children who will receive shoe boxes this ear. Your generosity will enable them to experience unimaginable joy and to hear of God’s amazing love for them.

Many thanks for your continued support.
