We have just learned of the death of His Holiness this morning, Easter Monday. Masses will be offered for the repose of his soul on Thursday (24 April) at St Mary Magdalene at 6.30 p.m. and at St Dyfrig’s on Friday (25 April) also at 6.30 p.m.
O God, who, in your divine providence, willed that your servant Francis should be numbered among the servants of the servants of God, grant, we beseech you, that he who on earth was the shepherd of the flock may be joined forevermore to the fellowship of your holy pastors who now enjoy their Sabbath rest. You live and reign for ever and ever. Amen.
