As you may be aware, there will be a collection for the newly launched Priest Training and Discipleship Appeal.

The importance of fostering discipleship and encouraging vocations were two strong themes that emerged from the synodal process. Having listened to what you and many others shared, this new initiative responds directly to those insights.

The appeal will continue to support seminarians throughout their formation – covering tuition costs and providing a modest maintenance grant. But this year, it will go further, helping us all respond to the universal call of the baptised: to become saints.

Funds raised will also support broader efforts in discipleship and evangelisation, including youth ministry, catechetical formation, and training for deacons and lay leaders.
