All Saints Travel and Fr Dale Cutlan are organising a 4-day pilgrimage for teens to Rome and Assisi, culminating in the canonisation ceremony for Blessed Carlo Acutis.
All Saints Travel says, “Blessed Carlo Acutis will be the first Saint this Millenium, making this a truly special occasion and not one to miss! We will also visit the four major basilicas of Rome (St Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, Archbasilica of St John Lateran, Basilica of St Paul Outside the Walls and Basilica of St Mary Major) and have a chance to walk through their holy doors. Jesus was quoted saying “I am the gate. Whoever enters through me, will be saved” (Jn 10:9). Plenary indulgence can be gained by entering through the holy doors. Before our stay in Rome, we will have 2 days in Assisi, a historical city pervaded by the spirit of St. Francis, viewing the Basilica of St Francis, St Clare, St Mary of the Angels and Blessed Carlos Acutis’ tomb.”
The pilgrimage will depart from London Heathrow on Thursday 24th April, and return on Sunday 27th April. During the four days in Assisi and Rome, pilgrims will have the opportunity to visit the tomb of the soon-to-be Saint Carlo Acutis, ascend (on their knees) the Holy Stairs that our Lord climbed to stand before Pontius Pilate, explore the crypt of St Peter’s Basilica, and more.
The cost of the pilgrimage is £949 per person. To book a spot, call 01793 88116 / 020 3720 0450 0r visit www.allsaintstravel.co.uk.
